Rachel and Brian’s Wedding

This past September, on a family residence in Yarmouth Port, Rachel and Brian said their “I Do’s.”

Under a perfectly draped tent the couple hosted their wedding reception. Typically, a swimming pool might be considered an obstacle, however, this beautiful feature added so much to the ambiance. Undercover Tent based in South Dennis, MA set up the tent to elegantly display the pool, using it a separation between the bar and dining area. Brian and Rachel opted for long tables, for family style seating.

The Casual Gourmet loved catering to Brian and Rachel. They were such a pleasure to work with and took chances to make their wedding fun but also still classic and elegant. When their ceremony ended, Rachel performed her champagne party trick as she popped champagne with a knife! It was such a fun way to get the party rolling!

With the flowers in soft whites, it was nice to see a pop of color through the homemade little details. The runners for all the tables were hand-sewn by the mother of the bride, along with the name cards and detail on the cake. The cake was simplistically stylish with a homespun twist. Mimicking the previously mentioned fabrics, the cake was decorated with a string of tiny flags made of the blue & green fabric. For additional dessert Coldstone Creamery made ice-cream cupcakes.

An interesting twist on the bouquet featured succulents interspersed throughout brought to you by Karen at Pedals by the Sea!
