There are so many gorgeous wedding venues on Cape Cod, it would be impossible to choose a favorite, but one of the most unique is certainly Highfield Hall & Gardens in Falmouth, so we thought we’d tap into our creative side and do a styled wedding shoot at the incredible historic venue.

Built in 1878, it was once the summer home of the Beebe family. The Victorian house was the first true mansion on Cape Cod, constructed just as the Cape was coming into fashion as a summer destination for well-heeled travelers. Highfield Hall underwent a top-to-bottom renovation in the mid 1990s, restoring it to its original splendor with meticulous detail.
Because it was a private home, Highfield Hall offers a series of grand rooms and intimate spaces, rather than a single large ballroom. This stunning room (look at that woodwork!) is often used for dancing after guests enjoy dinner under a tent on the adjacent terrace, while smaller groups may opt to use the space for dining. We chose it as the spot for our styled tabletop. Can you blame us?
Reverie Social, a sister company to PEAK Event Services, was kind enough to provide us with just the right pieces to set the perfect table.
We topped a round table with a “Zara Sapphire” floor-length tablecloth, a new option featured in Reverie Social’s 2025 Look Book. Also new are the striking “Hourglass” chairs in white. The stemware is their aptly named “Indigo” line.
In keeping with our Victorian take on coastal chic wedding décor, we opted for a mix of blue and white tableware. The white pieces are “Cheerful” (love it!) and the sophisticated blue dinner plate is “Savannah Coupe.” Reverie Social’s “Sadie Scalloped White Napkin” is artfully folded underneath each place setting. “Eton” silverware rounds out the look. A simple menu card in a complementary blue and a single bloom are the perfect finishing touches.
The Salty Florist provided a beautiful floral arrangement with subtle pops of peach and tangerine shades adding just enough contrast to our blue-and-white look. Small clear glass budvases arranged with white spray roses and a bit of greenery add a sense of lushness to the table.
We are, after all, Cape Cod wedding caterers, so it was only natural that Chef Phil add his own beautiful touches to the table.
With so many amazing rooms in Highfield Hall, we couldn’t limit ourselves to just one space, so while were there, we decided to have more fun.
The stairway is just one of Highfield’s standout features, and its landing, with an incredible mirror, is a favorite photo-op spot for brides and grooms. This tablecloth, again from Reverie Social, is “Tinsley.”
Back on the first level, in the Wolfson Dining Room, we arranged the artistry of our incredibly talented Cape Cod wedding cake baker, as well as a selection of hors d’ oeuvres.
One might think we were done at this point. One would be so incorrect! We saved one of the best spaces for last.
Unseen from the front of the wedding venue is the best back porch ever, a wrap-around verandah that spans two entire sides of the mansion. This is where many couples opt to hold their cocktail hour, with the bar and tall tables arranged on the verandah and sprinkled across the lawn. A corn hole game, personalized for the occasion, is a fun addition.
A massive thank you to Angie Bonin of Angelina Rose Photography for gorgeously photographing every single facet of our fun-filled day.
