With a cherished family summer house in Brewster, complete with a sprawling green overlooking the “flats” of Cape Cod Bay, there was never any doubt where Michelle and Will would celebrate their special day; at home.
Michelle was absolutely stunning in a gown with a sweetheart neckline as she came down the winding stairway which had been beautifully decorated with greenery and floral arrangements by Patrice R. Milley Floral Designs. Before meeting Will for a “first look,” she took time to pose for photographs with her maids on the sprawling veranda of her parent’s beach house, as Joe and Kristin from Organic Wedding Photography captured the beaming bride and her party.
After absolutely wowing Will at their first look, the very-soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. posed for a few photos, before moving on to Drummer Boy Park where they exchanged vows before more than 150 guests. “Uncle James,” Michelle’s uncle and godfather, served as the couple’s officiant, offering a deeply personal touch to the ceremony.
Clearly, making the most of their spectacular surroundings was an absolute must for the very-newly-wed Michelle and Will. Immediately after the ceremony, they made a photo op stop at the iconic windmill at Drummer Boy Park. Next up was the beach for “casual-formal” portraits where the tide was absolutely perfect for a barefoot stroll. With portraits complete, it was party time!
Arranged under a sailcloth tent, provided by Chase Canopy, was an assortment of round tables and long, Tuscan-style dining tables. The couple opted for pared-down place settings, which allowed the gorgeous floral arrangements and exquisite ocean view to take center stage.
Prior to joining their guests for the reception, Will and Michelle took a few moments with their photographers for additional portraits among the reeds and beach grass at the edge of the backyard. It proved the perfect place for the couple to enjoy a private moment and catch their breath before moving into the tent for a fun-filled evening of dining, and dancing to the tune of a DJ from Mike’s Music, with late-night homemade cookies milk ensuring the good times lasted well into the night.
After having the pleasure of catering Michelle’s cousin’s wedding two years, it was such delight for us to be a part of another joyful celebration with this fun, and fun-loving, family!
