Absolutely! During our initial consultation together, we may show you sample menus. This is simply a starting point to creating your own custom wedding menu. Custom menus not only allow us to prepare dishes that appeal to you, and your family and friends, but also to utilize local, seasonal ingredients wherever possible.

Of course! Once menu selections have been made, we encourage all of our couples to schedule a tasting. The time to realize you don’t actually care for Brussels sprouts is before your wedding, not at it. Because we work with so many couples who are planning a destination wedding on Cape Cod, we may suggest having nearby parent or member of your wedding party attend a tasting if it’s geographically unrealistic for you to be here personally.

Right here. We are one of the few wedding caterers on Cape Cod that holds a liquor license and liquor liability insurance. This means that you can ensure an ample supply of just want you want, including a signature cocktail, fine wines and locally brewed craft beer, at your wedding through The Casual Gourmet if you’d like. It also means that you can rest easy knowing that your guests are being served responsibly.

Probably not. Because we are the largest wedding caterer on Cape Cod, we are able to maintain our own supply of many styles of china, flatware, stemware and linens which are included in our pricing. We update our inventory regularly, so we’re always on top of the latest must-haves. The showroom at our Centerville location is brimming with selections – of both our own offerings and those of a rental company with whom we frequently work – and for highly specialized pieces, we can suggest just the right local vendor.

Definitely! Whether you choose to work with one of the many talented wedding planners on Cape Cod or rely on our in-house team for your wedding planning, one of our experienced event managers will be onsite ensuring that everything – and we do mean everything – is running smoothly, and act as your point of contact for every facet of your wedding. You can choose to work directly with this person on the Big Day or opt to appoint a close friend or relative to serve as your liaison.

We don’t mean to keep tooting our own horn (really!), but we have our own incredibly talented in-house baker at The Casual Gourmet. Our #CasualCakes (check out the hashtag on Instagram!) are carefully crafted with the finest ingredients and exquisitely decorated. Like our menus, each of our wedding cakes is completely customized so it’s a true reflection of your own unique style.
