Completed in the fall of 2014, Lorusso Lodge at Flax Pond, in South Yarmouth, is one of Cape Cod’s newest wedding reception venues. The 100-acre lot, which was for many years a campground, is owned by the Town of the Yarmouth and includes a serene lake, a fire pit and walking paths weaving throughout the recently-refreshed grounds.

The lodge features a rustic Arts & Crafts look, reminiscent of a grand Adirondack home, coupled with the fresh feel of a newly-built space. Craftsman-style wood beams accent the cathedral ceiling in the reception space which can accommodate 130 for dinner and dancing. Have your ceremony on the shores of the lake and, if the weather permits, enjoy cocktail hour under a canopy of lush trees before moving inside.
