If you love the idea of having a church wedding followed by a reception at one of Cape Cod’s true hidden gems, St. Mary’s Church may be the perfect place for you. St. Mary’s is located on historic Route 6A in Barnstable Village, one the Cape’s prettiest, oldest towns. The oldest part of the church was built in 1891. It’s been added on to several times over the last century with each addition adhering to its original rural English architecture style. While the church is located on the main street of the village, its extensive gardens are not well known, even by people who live here. Beds filled with flowers bloom all season long and quiet paths wind through the acreage. Fabulous photo ops are everywhere.
