Last weekend Olive and the Casual Gourmet hosted the International Caterers Association’s (ICA) annual Board of Director’s retreat. Despite the poor weather that Hurricane Sandy brought to us, the group managed to wine and dine while seeing the sites of Cape Cod.

On the first night, Olive hosted a cocktail party at Heritage Museums and Gardens!  Not only did the group love the venue, but they loved the food even more! Check out the video below that showcases our petite entrees station!!

Olive took note of the retreats in years past and noticed that tables and chairs always got moved around to accommodate the close-knit conversations of the group. So this year she changed it up a bit! Check out what Olive and Rentals Unlimited came up with! Perfect for a cozy, cocktail hour!

After a full day of meetings on Friday, the board enjoyed the evening at the Wianno Club in Osterville. The head chef at the club served up a fall themed feast with the main dish of roasted pumpkin !

It was a successful retreat had by all; filled with fine wine, delicious food and great company! And everyone was able to avoid Sandy and get home safe and sound!
